A small plane crashed on Avenida Marques de Sao Vicente, in the Barra Funda region, west of Sao Paulo, local authorities reported on Friday.
Preliminary information from the Sao Paulo Fire Department suggests that the plane landed on a bus, leading to a fire outbreak. As of now, there are no details available regarding casualties.
According to BandNews FM radio, eyewitnesses said that the aircraft was flying at a low altitude when the incident happened. Firefighters were dispatched to manage the situation, necessitating a partial road closure to facilitate rescue operations and carry out an investigation into the crash.
