Multiple people killed in stabbing in Germany

Three people were killed and several more have been seriously wounded at the Festival of Diversity in the German city of Solingen, local media reported on Friday.

According to Bild, a man, who was described to look like an Arab by witnesses, randomly stabbed passers-by with a knife around 9:45 pm CET. The city festival has now been canceled and the police declared a major alarm.

The police has not commented on the motive for the attack.
