Polish Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz said on Monday that Warsaw and Berlin will activate their coalition of armored capabilities for Ukraine on March 26, with several other European countries, including Sweden, Italy, and Britain, having expressed their readiness to participate in the coalition.
Speaking at the press conference following the meeting with German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius in Warsaw, Kosiniak-Kamysz also disclosed that German and Polish battle groups will join rapid reaction forces in Europe in July.
Earlier today, the European Council decided to allocate another €5 billion to military assistance for Ukraine. Moscow previously accused Washington of being "de facto deeply involved" in the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
