Polish Defense Minister Mariusz Blaszczak said on Tuesday that Poland has already sent a request to Germany to deliver German-made Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine. He said Berlin has received the request and urged it to "join the coalition of countries supporting Ukraine" with battle tanks.
"This is our common cause because it is about the security of the whole of Europe," Blaszczak said. The German government previously said it will not block the countries in possession of Leopard 2 tanks from sending them to Ukraine.
