Police dismantled more pro-Palestinian encampments at university campuses in the United States on Friday. The camp at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) was cleared by officers in riot gear, with the university president stating 10 students were arrested.
Officers also tore down tents at the University of Pennsylvania and arrested protesters who refused to leave. Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro claimed demonstrators "violated laws," adding that "all students have a legal right to feel safe on campus."
