Former United States President Donald Trump is 28 points ahead of former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley among the Republican Party's voters in Iowa to become the GOP's nominee in the 2024 election, the latest poll conducted by Des Moines Register/NBC News/Mediacom showed.
According to the results, 48% of participants in the survey marked Trump as their first choice to become the party's nominee. Haley finished the second with 20%, while Florida Governor Ron DeSantis gained 16% of votes.
The poll also showed that 69% of participants have a favorable view of Trump, while 58% view DeSantis favorably, 52% have a favorable view of Vivek Ramaswamy, and 48% have a favorable view of Haley.
