The Detroit Police said that the president of one of Detroit's synagogues was stabbed to death outside her home.
After Isaac Agree Downtown Detroit Synagogue Board President Samantha Woll was found dead, Detroit Police Chief James White noted the law enforcement has "mobilized many of its resources and has been leveraging every law enforcement and community resource it has to help further the investigation," but noted the crime leaves "many unanswered questions." Woll earlier worked for two Democratic politicians, United States Representative Elissa Slotkin and on the reelection campaign of Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel.
Earlier this week, the FBI warned it noticed an "increase in reports of threats" against Jews, Arabs and Muslims in the US amid the Israel-Hamas war.
