Russian President Vladimir Putin emphasized Moscow's growing partnership with Oman across key sectors on Tuesday. Hosting Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said during a state visit to Russia, Putin noted that multiple areas are now actively under development through state-level cooperation.
"There is now an opportunity to develop our relations in logistics, transport, mutual investments, and agriculture," Putin said, adding that both sides are working closely at the level of state funds as well. He also underlined continued food exports to Oman and hinted at deepening collaboration in the energy sector, where Russian firms are showing strong interest.
Sultan Haitham echoed the sentiment, affirming the "strong and durable" ties between the two nations, promising further development of "privileged" relations between Moscow and Muscat.
