Russian President Vladimir Putin submitted the anti-terror agreement between Russia and China for the state ratification, TASS reported on Wednesday. The deal, first signed in Beijing in 2007, implies close cooperation between the two nations in a fight against terrorism, separatism and extremism.

The agreement outlines effective efforts in order to prevent terroristic acts, their planning, and exertion. Russia and China agreed on the information exchange to ensure the prevention of such acts of terror. The parties also conceded to aid in the investigation of any criminal cases should one of the countries require assistance, collaborate on the production of special equipment and exchange relevant supplies and gears.
