Russian President Vladimir Putin stated on Thursday that the trade between Moscow and Beijing is growing "at an enormous pace."
Speaking at the Valdai Discussion Club event, Putin highlighted that "relations with China are unprecedently open and effective." He further asserted that he considers Beijing a "close friend and an ally."
The head of Russia commented that he is confident his country will achieve $200 billion in trade with China, its biggest partner. "The parties are moving toward this goal at a higher-than-anticipated pace," Putin concluded.
