Putin: Oreshnik missiles to be sent to Belarus in 2025

Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Friday that Moscow will send Oreshnik intermediate-range ballistic missiles to Belarus in the second half of 2025, when serial production starts. He said the Belarus government would decide independently on their use "on the territory of a potential enemy." "There are a number of technical issues here that must be resolved by specialists, namely, determining the minimum range taking into account the priorities of ensuring the security of the Republic of Belarus," Putin said as Russia and Belarus signed a security guarantee deal.
