Russian President Vladimir Putin commented on Wednesday that Moscow and Minsk are working together to strengthen the defense potential of the Union State.
"We consistently defend our legitimate foreign policy interests and work together with foreign partners to form a more just, multipolar world order," Putin said in a message posted on the Kremlin's website.
The Russian head of state added that he is confident the relations between Russia and Belarus will continue to develop in "all areas."
