Putin: Russia has almost no contacts with the US

The Russian Federation and the United States governments currently have almost no contacts, President Vladimir Putin said on Friday in the context of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

"As for contacts, we have practically no contacts. But we did not abandon them. If you want to have some dialogue with us, go ahead," Putin said.

Reflecting on the topic, Putin added that the US transferred the dialogue to the "sphere of arms supplies." Moreover, he claimed that "approximately 30% of heavily armored vehicles" supplied by that country "have been destroyed."
