An American woman detained by the Taliban since February was released this week, the AFP reported on Saturday, citing a source familiar with the matter.
Faye Hall was freed Thursday after a court order, with logistical help from Qatar, which mediated on behalf of the US. Hall was received at the Qatari embassy in Kabul, where she underwent medical checks.
She was held for allegedly using a drone without permission.
