Qatar's Foreign Ministry saluted on Sunday French President Emmanuel Macron's remarks in favor of an arms embargo on Israel. The ministry said the measure would be an "important and appreciated step towards stopping the war" in the Gaza Strip.
The ministry also called on the international community to "take firm decisions to compel Israel to stop its aggression against Gaza and Lebanon, which has expanded and has become an imminent threat to regional and international security."
