Qualcomm's Q3 EPS up 84% YoY to $3.29

Qualcomm Incorporated announced on Wednesday that its diluted earnings per share (EPS) jumped 84% year over year to $3.29 in the third quarter of fiscal 2022.

Revenues soared 36% on an annual basis to $10.94 billion in the three months that ended June 26, 2022, and net income reached $3.73 billion after rocketing 84% from the same quarter a year ago.

"We are pleased to report strong quarterly results, with record QCT Automotive and IoT revenues in a challenging macroeconomic environment. We are also excited to announce the extension of our patent license agreement with Samsung and the expansion of our strategic partnership to deliver leading premium consumer experiences for Samsung Galaxy devices," President and CEO Cristiano Amon said in a statement.

Company shares were 3.60% down in late trading after the report was released.
