The Royal Bank of Scotland Group Plc (RBS) reported on Friday its operating profit stood at £961 million in the third quarter of 2018, rising 10.3% on an annual level.
Earnings per share were 11.1p for the quarter ending September 30, down 1% year-over-year. The major lender also reported profit attributable to ordinary shareholders at £448 million for the period, rising 14% compared to the third quarter of 2017.
Meanwhile, RBS said total income increased 15% year-on-year, to amount to £3.64 billion in the third quarter.
