RWE AG announced on Tuesday that its adjusted income in the first nine months of the fiscal year 2023 observed an annual jump of 127% to reach €3.38 billion. On the other hand, its external revenue lost 22% in contrast with the first nine months of 2022 to land at €20.96 billion.
The company's internal revenue rose by 63% compared to the same period in 2022 to come in at €2.09 billion. Its net income attributable to shareholders grew by 81% year-on-year to hit €3.81 billion. Meanwhile, the enterprise's earnings per share surged by 64% on an annual basis to stand at €5.12 per share
"Our portfolio has grown by about six gigawatts since the beginning of the year. This has led to a significant increase in electricity production from renewables, which contributes to our growth in earnings. This positive trend will continue," Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Michael Mueller said.
