Entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy suspended his presidential campaign following former United States President Donald Trump's victory in the Iowa Republican caucuses, whom Ramaswamy then endorsed.

Ramaswamy finished fourth in Iowa, according to projections by NBC News, and announced the suspension of his presidential campaign. He said that he called Trump to congratulate him on his victory.

"There needs to be an America First candidate in this race," Ramaswamy said, adding that Trump will have his full endorsement going forward.
