The Palestinian Red Crescent (PRCS) provided further updates about the Israeli operation on al-Amal Hospital in Khan Younis. The PRCS stated that the medical complex came under heavy attack, with smoke bombs deployed and bulldozers in action.

One person seeking refuge at the hospital sustained a head injury during the assault. PRCS also mentioned that smoke bombs were aimed at coercing staff, wounded individuals, and displaced persons to vacate the premises. Moreover, Israeli troops allegedly sealed off the hospital gates with barriers and demanded that everyone evacuate without clothing.

The news comes after the PRCS said a staff member was killed in the attack.
