The G20 countries agreed on Saturday to acknowledge the United States decision to withdraw from the Paris Agreement on climate, according to a copy of the final communique on the issue seen by the Guardian.

The communique states the G20 "take note" of US President Donald Trump's decision to pull the country out of the Paris deal. However, in the document, the US expresses a "strong commitment to an approach that lowers emissions while supporting economic growth and improving energy security needs," the British newspaper said.

The other nineteen G20 countries consider the Paris Agreement "irreversible," the copy of the communique showed.
