United States crude inventories plunged by the unexpected 6.53 million barrels in the week ending October 28, private data from the American Petroleum Institute (API) reportedly showed on Tuesday.
Reserves in Cushing, Oklahoma, allegedly rose by 883,000 barrels. On the other hand, gasoline stockpiles were down by 2.64 million barrels, while distillate inventories rose by 865,000 barrels.
