Rolls-Royce debuts new Series 2000 engine in China

Rolls-Royce Holdings plc. announced on Friday that it launched the new mtu Series 2000 G06 engine in China, marking the first production from its expanded joint venture MTU Yuchai Power.

The new engine is designed to serve as the main backup power for data centers, industrial parks, power stations, rental, and infrastructure. The project is handled by German-based Rolls-Royce Power Systems AG, which develops high-speed engines and power generation systems for land, sea, and energy applications.
