Romania to start issuing Schengen visas to Russians

Russian citizens will be able to apply for Romanian-issued Schengen visas from March 31, TASS reported on Thursday, citing the Embassy of Romania in Moscow.

"Romania will issue uniform (Schengen) visas from March 31, 2024. Unified visas issued after this date will allow you to enter the Schengen area for up to 90 days in any 180-day period," the embassy told the news agency.

Bulgaria also previously announced it will begin issuing visas to Russian nationals starting April 1, 2024.

Romania recovers pieces of Russian drone
The Romanian Defense Ministry said on Monday that it recovered fragments of a Russian drone near the village of Periprava in the Tulcea region.
