US Secretary of State Marco Rubio warned Venezuela on Tuesday, demanding that the Maduro government accept deportation flights of Venezuelan nationals from the US without obstruction.

"This is not an issue for debate or negotiation," Rubio wrote on X, adding that compliance is a legal obligation, not a concession.

Rubio clarified that failure to accept a "consistent flow" of repatriation flights would trigger severe and escalating sanctions.
