The Russian Armed Forces confirmed the missile attack on the city of Odessa on Saturday, as stated by the Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Major General Igor Konashenkov.
"This afternoon, high-precision air-launched missiles of the Russian Aerospace Forces disabled the logistics terminal at the military airfield near Odessa, which was storing a large batch of foreign weapons received from the United States and European countries," Konashenkov said.
Earlier, however, the Ukrainian president's chief of staff, Andriy Yermak, announced that five people had been killed and eighteen injured in the missile attack.
