Russia's Security Council Secretary Sergey Shoygu met on Friday with North Korea's Supreme Leader Kim Jong-un on a visit to Pyongyang.
"I would like to convey to you greetings and best wishes from Russian President Vladimir Putin. He is paying the closest attention to the implementation of the agreements reached with you," Shoygu told Kim during their meeting, according to Russian media.
North Korean troops continue to fight in the Kursk region alongside the Russian military, with recent reports suggesting that their number has increased in January and February.
