Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov (pictured left) told his Turkish counterpart, Hakan Fidan, (pictured right) about a recent Ukrainian attack on the Turkish Stream gas pipeline.
According to Russia's Foreign Ministry, three drones targeted the Russkaya compressor station but were intercepted by Russian air defenses. Lavrov urged Fidan to use Turkey's influence to prevent further attacks on Russian infrastructure.
Fidan assured Lavrov that Turkey would take necessary steps in response.
