The Russian Ministry of Defense told reporters on Monday that it used a new generation of precision-guided munitions during its special military operation in Ukraine.

The ministry shared that the new ammunition was used to target a "hangar established by reconnaissance and additionally reconnoitered with the help of UAVs, in which the Armed Forces of Ukraine sheltered combat armored vehicles and carried out their maintenance and repair."

According to the ministry, the projectile managed to break through the hangar's ceiling and exploded inside it, destroying Ukraine's armored vehicles.
