Russia destroys Ukrainian fuel depot in Zaporizhzhia

The Russian Ministry of Defense stated on Sunday that its aerospace forces managed to destroy a Ukrainian fuel depot in the Zaporizhzhia region. The forces "destroyed the fuel depot of the 102nd Territorial Defense Brigade, which stored more than 100 tons of diesel fuel for military equipment," the ministry's spokesperson Igor Konashenkov said during a press briefing.

In addition, he shared that the Russian army also demolished a Ukrainian ammunition depot in Odessa holding the American HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS). Furthermore, Moscow's air defense systems shot down nine of Kiev's unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) "in the areas of the settlements of Staromlynovka and Gorlovka of the Donetsk People's Republic," the spokesman noted.
