Russia downs 45 Ukrainian drones overnight

Russian defenses downed 45 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) overnight, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense.

Of 45 drones, 27 were destroyed over the Kursk region, 16 were intercepted over the Belgorod region, one was brought down over the Rostov region and another drone was shot down over the Lipetsk region.

Ukrainian strike damages power substation in Kursk region
A Ukrainian strike late Monday damaged a power substation in the city of Rylsk, located in the Kursk region, according to the region's governor, Alexander Khinshtein. "As a result of the attack on the city, two transformers were damaged, and the light was completely turned off," Khinstein wrote on Telegram.
