Stein confirmed as Green Party candidate in US election

The Green Party officially nominated Jill Stein as its presidential candidate in the 2024 United States election.

"It's official: we've won the @GreenPartyUS 2024 presidential nomination! Onward to an end to endless war and genocide, a livable future for our children, and an America and a world that works for all of us! #SteinWare2024" Stein announced on her X page.

Earlier this week, Stein, who was already her party's candidate in the 2012 and 2016 elections, named university professor Butch Ware as her running mate.
