The entire Board of Directors of Juventus Football Club (Juventus) resigned Monday, including Andrea Agnelli (pictured), its President, and Pavel Nedved, its Vice-President.

The news comes just as the Turin Prosecutor's Office investigates Juventus for allegedly falsifying its balance sheets in 2019, 2020, and 2021. In addition, 16 club managers have been investigated, including Nedved and Agnelli. In today's statement, the club acknowledges the "complexity" of the case.

According to the official announcement, the Board will continue its activities until the shareholders appoint a new Board of Directors at a meeting to be held on January 18, 2023.
