Russian air defense systems downed 16 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) from 4 pm to 6 pm local time, the country's defense ministry announced via Telegram on Friday.

According to the ministry, 11 drones were downed over the Bryansk region, three in the Ryazan region, and one in the Smolensk and Oryol regions.

There has been no information about casualties or material damage.
