Russian air defense forces shot down eight hostile unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and one missile over the Rostov region, said the local head of government Yuri Slyusar.
The drones were intercepted over the Azov district and near the city of Taganrog while the missile was downed near Millerovo.
"According to preliminary data, there are no casualties due to falling debris. Information about the consequences on the ground is being clarified," Slyusar wrote on Telegram.
