The Kremlin released on Tuesday a list detailing Russian and Ukrainian energy infrastructure locations that will be protected from military strikes under the newly established agreement.
"The list of Russian and Ukrainian facilities agreed upon between the Russian and American sides that fall under the temporary moratorium on attacks on the energy system: oil refineries, oil and gas pipelines and storage facilities, including pumping stations, electricity generating and transmitting infrastructure, including power plants, substations, transformers and distributors, nuclear power plants, hydroelectric dams," the statement showed.
Following separate discussions with American officials in Saudi Arabia during the previous two days, Russia and Ukraine have reached a Black Sea ceasefire arrangement. The negotiations also resulted in a mutual commitment to refrain from targeting energy facilities in both nations.
