Russia praises IAEA chief's planned visit to Kursk power plant

Russia's Permanent Representative to the International Organizations in Vienna Mikhail Ulyanov praised Rosatom's invitation to Rafael Grossi, the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), to visit the Kursk Nuclear Power Plant.

Ulyanov described the invitation as "timely and important" amid growing concerns over security at nuclear sites. He noted that Rosatom Director General Alexey Likhachev highlighted the worsening security conditions at the Zaporizhzhia and Kursk plants during a recent call with Grossi.
