An American RQ-4B Global Hawk reconnaissance drone flew near the borders of the Russian Federation as part of a NATO mission, Polish radio station RMF FM reported.
The unmanned aerial vehicle reportedly took off from Italy's Sigonella Air Base and covered a route over Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia, Poland and Lithuania. It spent 17 hours in the air, circling the corridor near the Kaliningrad region, before returning to its base in Italy.
The report noted that a similar mission occurred in June, with the drone patrolling over the Black Sea near Crimea.
