President Joe Biden will return to the White House on Saturday night, a day earlier than planned, following a shooting at a campaign rally for Donald Trump. The White House announced the change in plans as the incident is being investigated as an attempted assassination.
Biden, who had been staying at his beach house in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, was initially scheduled to remain there through the weekend.
During a press conference, the president of the US condemned the shooting while stating, "There's no place in America for this kind of violence."
