Deputy of the Lviv City Council Igor Zinkevich confirmed that an air raid alert has been activated in Ukraine's western city.
According to his post, the Ukrainian forces detected Iranian-made Shahed drones launched by Russia around 5:00 am local time. "Everyone is asked to remain calm and stay in the shelter," he exclaimed.
Overnight, warnings of air strikes were also issued in the Kiev region in response to an attempted drone attack.
