The Russian Ministry of Defense said on Tuesday that the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked Russian energy facilities six times in the past 24 hours, violating the agreement made after the United States held talks with both countries' delegations in Riyadh in March.
The ministry stated that the attacks, using mainly drones, targeted the facilities in the Bryansk, Kerson, and the Kursk region. The damages caused by the drone strikes and shellings reportedly led to several transformer substations being disconnected and hundreds of people being left without power or gas supply.
Earlier today, Russian Foreign Intelligence Service Director Sergey Naryshkin commented on the Ukrainian leadership, saying it wants to continue the conflict to stay in power. He stated that while his country is "fully fulfilling" its obligations regarding the moratorium on energy strikes, "the same cannot be said of the Ukrainian army."
