Russia says border area lost power after shelling

The settlements of Iskra, Kleven, and Bogoslovka near Russia's border with Ukraine had their power cut off as a result of Ukrainian shelling.

Roman Starovoit, the governor of the Kursk region, verified the shelling and reported that more than 20 arrivals were confirmed, but that no injuries or property damage resulted from the attack.

Repair crews are reportedly on the scene.
