Boeing airplane crash in South Korea kills at least 28

A South Korean plane with 175 passengers and six crew members on board collided with a fence at an airport in the city of Muan causing the deaths of 28 people, Yonhap reported, citing the country's authorities.

The incident occurred while Jeju Air flight from Bangkok veered off the runway while attempting to land at Muan International Airport in South Jeolla Province.

Emergency services have been activated to deal with the situation and the authorities opened an investigation to determine the causes of the accident.
