Russia says will talk with US on Ukraine in due course

Russian President Vladimir Putin's foreign policy aide Yuri Ushakov said on Tuesday that teams of negotiators from the United States and Russia will "contact each other in due course" for discussions on the settlement of the war in Ukraine. He said the two sides "discussed and outlined our fundamental approaches" during the high-level bilateral meeting in Saudi Arabia.

Ushakov said Putin will appoint officials to the negotiating team, which will depend on the composition of the US delegation.
