Russian forces launched "heavy" shelling in the Ukrainian town of Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast overnight on Saturday, according to Mykola Lukashuk, head of the Dnipro regional council.
The official said half a dozen residential buildings were destroyed along with a power line, however, no people were injured.
"Nikopol experienced another difficult night of Russian terror," Lukashuk said.
