The Iranian government on Saturday denounced calls for the United Nations to investigate its alleged supply of drones to Russia.

Nasser Kanaani, spokesman for Iran's foreign ministry, said his country did not provide Russia with weapons to be used in Ukraine, going on to condemn France, Germany and the United Kingdom for making "baseless" accusations.

The move comes after the three nations supported Ukraine's demand for a UN probe.
