Russia strikes deal with Iran on building drones - report

Iran and Russia concluded a deal to produce hundreds of weaponized drones on Russian soil, The Washington Post reported on Saturday, citing Western intelligence seen by interviewed officials.

The deal was reportedly sealed earlier in November in Iran and the two sides are looking to move quickly to transfer designs and begin production "within months."

The comments come after the Iranian foreign ministry in October admitted to selling drones to Russia, despite previously extensively denying any such accusations.
