Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko announced that Russia will assist Belarus in producing missiles during the conference on Tuesday.

Lukashenko noted that such an agreement had been previously made between Russian President Vladimir Putin, Russian space agency Roscosmos's Director-General Dmitry Rogozin, and himself, noting that the new rocket will resemble Iskander-type missiles.

Previously, the Belarusian President met with his Russian counterpart in the Far East, emphasizing that no sanctions would come between Moscow and Minsk. Lukashenko also added that Belarus will provide Russia with any equipment needed in order to deepen cooperation between the two countries.
