Russia will start vaccinating adolescents between the ages of 12 and 17 against COVID-19 by the end of 2021, Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko told Tass on Thursday. He added some 150,000 doses of the Sputnik M shot, approved for children, will be delivered by the end of the year.
The Sputnik M vaccine was authorized on November 24. It was modified specifically for use in adolescents, who will need their parents' consent to get immunized.
