Since the beginning of the operation in Ukraine, Russian Armed Forces shot down or destroyed 180 airplanes, 127 helicopters, 1,027 drones and 324 anti-aircraft missile systems that belonged to the Ukrainian military, Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Major General Igor Konashenkov revealed on Friday.
Also, one MiG-29 aircraft and eight Ukrainian drones were destroyed over the past day, he told reporters, adding that one Ukrainian Tochka-U ballistic missile was intercepted in the Lugansk People's Republic.
The Russian military also destroyed 77 Ukrainian command posts as well as "412 areas of concentration of manpower and military equipment" over the past 24 hours, according to the official.
